Behemoth is a duet comprised of paper, light, sound, a shredder, a visual artist and a dancer. Performed at Lu Magnus gallery on the Lower East Side during Jonathan Allen's solo exhibition, it utilized the project room and the main exhibition space of the gallery as performance spaces. The work is a meditation on the limits of chaos and control, with ordered passages of materials and movement disintegrating into fury and disorder.
